Desireé Moore is a time-based artist who hybridizes film modes and media technologies. Her practice is collection/archive-driven and emphasizes themes of female subjectivity, memory and loss in the 21st Century. Moore's creative practice spans film, interactive and installation art, image and sculpture. 

Moore is currently an Artist-In-Residence with True/False Film Festival and an Arts & Humanities Research and Creative Works Fellow (2023-2025) and other recent accolades include the Confluence Fellowship (2023) with True/False Film Festival, and was a Development Lab Fellow (2022) with UnionDocs Center for Documentary Art. Her work has been screened and presented internationally at venues like The Momentary, FotoFocus Biennial, Aesthetica Film Festival, The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, Borscht Film Festival, The Armory Show, Pratt Institute, the New Art Center, and more. Currently based in Columbia, MO, she is an educator at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
